Sharing Personal Information:
The MMDA does not share personal information about certified sales
professionals with any other organization. The one exception to this
policy is in the case of Drake P3 profile information where MMDA acts
as a third party processor of data supplied by members as part of
their Human Resources activities. MMDA deems consent to process such
information has been granted by the individual to the member and
subsequently to MMDA at the time the information is requested by the
member and supplied by the consenting individual.
Personal information received from consumers will not be shared with
any other organization or individuals without the explicit consent or
at the request of the individual involved. Personal information
received from individuals registering for events may be shared with
others attending or managing the event.
The only other situation whereby the MMDA may share personal
information about any individual would be when required to do so by
law.

The MMDA will retain personal information about certified sales
professionals until such time as the Association is no longer involved
in training and certifying sales professionals or until requested by
an individual to delete their personal information from the
Association's records.
Personal information about consumers will only be retained as long as
necessary to assist in resolving the situation that led to the initial
contact. General information about consumers' experiences and problems
will be retained for ongoing compilation and evaluation by the MMDA.
Personal information obtained from individuals attending or involved
in special events or projects will be retained for the completion of
the event or project and may be retained on file for planning
purposes.
