2026 MMDA VIP Executive Golf Tournament

Supporting industry recruitment initiatives & bursaries for students pursuing a career in the automotive Industry.

Awarded annually, these funds assist Manitoba students at a secondary or post-secondary level who are pursuing education that could lead to employment with a new car, truck or heavy truck dealership in Manitoba. This can be a high school trades program or a post-secondary area of study related to business. This can include, but is not limited to, Business Administration, IT, Human Resources, Communications and Marketing.

Hosted by the MMDA Associate Advisory Council

This council makes major contributions to the MMDA’s programs, both actively and financially. The areas in which they provide financial assistance include recruitment, training and outreach activities.

They also encourage good fellowship by sponsoring and organizing annual fundraisers such as the DRIVE Event (Industry Celebration) as well as industry specific value-added services to the overall membership. The Chair of the Select Supplier Division sits on the MMDA Board of Directors.

In order to be eligible to sit on the council the individual must be an employee, officer or owner of an Associate member firm who is an Official Annual Supplier. The firm must be active in the motor vehicle industry and be in good standing with Manitoba Motor Dealers Association. The MMDA Executive Director and President are Ex Officio’s on the committee.
